In this program, employees are motivated to make fitness a higher priority in their lives; they create an exercise plan that fits their unique situation, and they take weekly action, supported by Behavior Change Specialists, to create new fitness habits that last long after the program is over. Unlike most trendy exercise programs, the Fit For Life program is evidence-based and incorporates research by Dr. John Ratey of Harvard University, Dr. BJ Fogg at Stanford University, and the Diabetes Prevention Program.

New habits in 12 weeks

Each LifeDojo program implementation consists of these four steps, tailored to the needs and communication style of your organization.


The first 1 to 2 weeks of the Fit For Life program focus on getting your employees motivated and invested in the life changes that they will make. Our lessons use animation, humor and story to engage your employees in topics like: the vast physical, mental and emotional benefits of increasing movement; the history of exercise; the modern “exercise crisis” and what it means for them not only from a physical perspective but emotionally and in their work performance.

Make it Stick!

With their personal motivation and habit change plan in place, employees are supported by both the online platform and the LifeDojo Behavior Change Specialist who serves as a personal coach. On a weekly basis, scheduled coaching sessions guide employees through the normal ups and downs in order to overcome barriers and make their new habits stick. LifeDojo Behavior Change Specialists are trained in a variety of evidence-based methods to help your employees learn to manage the daily challenges and successfully incorporate new habits into their lifestyle.


LifeDojo is your partner from start to finish. As soon as a launch date is chosen, we get to work. We collaborate with all interested stakeholders to determine the most appropriate avenues for pre- launch communications and internal marketing. We lend our expertise to every communication and event to ensure your employees are aware of and excited about the program.

Once employees understand more about the real physical and mental impact of exercise, the LifeDojo platform guides them as they choose a fitness habit they feel comfortable being able to fully incorporate into their daily lives. Because they’re choosing the actual activities themselves, they become personally invested in their long term success. Because they start with a small yet effective change, they are 5x more likely to stick to their plan than other programs.
